[GoogleFont=Raleway|Montserrat|Ubuntu] [attr="class","event1"]Rumors had begun to spread like wildfire. A mysterious aura coming from an abandoned mansion within the residential area of the Azabu-District. Children, teenagers, and even adults have been brought to the home by various voices. Those who were contacted and visited the estate entered past the steel gates in search of the voice. However, upon entering, they all failed to exit. Students among the several schools claimed to have walked past said mansion. Only to hear a voice and flee shortly after. The consensus of what the voices spoke to them however, varied. Some say the voices sounded like that of a crying child. Others claim it to have been the wailing's of sorrow. The mansion itself had not begun to receive such attention until the mysterious dome appeared over Minato-ku. Could this building have a play in it's arrival? These voices can only be heard at midnight. Will you brave the haunted mansion in search of an answer? Upon arrival, you will be met with a tall black steel fence. The lock to said fence however, has been broken. Making it easy for you to slip inside and move onward onto private property. A brick trail will lead you up to the front door. The yard itself seems to have been kept cut and well kept. There are several statues decorating the yard. Most of them seem to be in the image of children in play. With the moon shining high above, it even seems as though the statues eyes are glowing. Upon finally reaching the door, you will find that with a subtle twist of the nob, the door easily opens. Leading you to a large foyer. To your LEFT there would be a door that led to what seemed to be an extensive library. To your RIGHT, a large dining hall that would also lead to the spacious kitchen. FORWARD, however, there would be a large stairwell that lead to a large door. A multi-colored chandelier above your head would begin to swing and suddenly, candles would ignite along the walls. Brightening the darkened entrance. "Find me..." a whisper would speak out to you. Echoing through the Foyer. Will you stay, or will you leave? posting order — TAKEO AIKO • TORU AIHARA • KIRA HIMOJI • KAI MCLANE [ don't forget to tag @(npc1) in your posts ] MADE FOR MOONLIGHT DENSETSU |

[attr="class","kfbase"] [attr="class","kftop"] [attr="class","kficon"] [attr="class","kfboxbase"] SUPER ROOKIE [attr="class","kfbox"]It had grown more difficult to sleep at night. Restless nights of tossing and turning underneath his sheets. Sapphire hues fixated at his window. Peering with anxiety at the dome that had seemingly appeared over the city overnight. How could he have been so careless? He didn't sense any form of malicious energy. It just... happened. Which the blond couldn't wrap his mind around. None of it made any sense. Not a single facet of the incident seemed to be logical. As if logic could explain every instance that happened. A firm believer that magic existed, Takeo hoped that this degree of magic wouldn't prove as harmful as he had already imagined it to be. Removing the covers from his body, he would proceed to sit up and scratch at the disarray of blond trestles he called hair. Lazily staring back at the window in hopes the dome was nothing more than a figment of his own vivid imagination. "Still there..." he heaved a heavy sigh. It was almost stifling, the amount of discomfort that built in his chest. He knew it very well to be his job to tend to the dangers that arose. And failure... well... he couldn't allow history to repeat itself.
Moving from his bed entirely, the male peered out of his window and allowed his hues to dart about the dormitory area. All seemed normal. He couldn't sense the presence of darkness near his general area. Which was a good thing. It wasn't enough to defuse his fear entirely, but it was a start. Steps were taken away from his window and his body made it's way towards his door. A hand reaching out towards the knob, before halting at the sounds of voices within the hallway. "Did you hear about that new rumor going around? The ghost that's abducting random bodies at the old abandoned mansion?" Blond brows rose in intrigue, ear moving to the surface of the door. Careful to remain silent as he garnered more information.
"Oh yeah! Something about voices calling them, right? That shit's pretty creepy bro." Voices? "Yeah, and they say you can only hear them at midnight too. One of the guys from gym said that he got a huge chill just walking by the damn place." Head craned back to his alarm clock. 11:40 PM. A sly grin plastered on his face, Takeo had formed a plan of action. Moving away from the door, the blond quickly clad himself in a black and gold sweater, sweatpants combo and slipped his feet into a pair of socks and then sneakers. Hair tied into his signature side ponytail, and power bracelet on his wrist; he moved to his door and made sure to lock it. Next, foot steps tread towards his window, grabbing his cell phone before he proceeded to open it.
With nothing more than the driving force to save his city, Takeo leaped from the safety of his dorm room and onto the branch of a tree. Scurrying his way down the overgrown fern, he touched down on the ground and took off. Thanking his newfound powers for allowing the leaps up and over the gates. Unfortunately, he wouldn't be able to catch any form of transportation. So, after finding an alleyway, "raise your sword, Venus power, en garde!" A bright flash of light would transform Takeo into his Sentai variant. Allowing him to leap about the city at a quicker pace. Arriving at his "haunted" destination with a few minutes to spare.
Landing in yet another alley, Takeo ceased his transformation and inched out from the crevice of the two buildings. The aforementioned mansion in sight, he nodded and made his move to get a closer look. Upon taking a step near the gate, his resolve shook at the sudden surge of malefic energy that seemed to be pouring out from the home. "Hm.." Eyelids lowered, and a stern glare ensued. There was evil afoot, and it would be vanquished. A hand moved to push at the gate. The broken lock making it easy for him to intrude and invade.
Slow, careful steps ensued. Sapphire hues examining the property with scrutiny. The statues themselves were enough to send anyone heading for the hills. But Takeo didn't have such a luxury. Not anymore, at least. Fingers tucked into firm fists at his sides as he trudged onward, the blond arrived at the front door and with a breath, he reached for the knob, twisted it, and entered.
"So dark in here," he started, "Tofu would love it. Bet he'd get a ton of ratin—" his phone vibrated, it was midnight. "Find me..." eyes widened at the sudden whisper in tandem with candle lights flickering on. What was now a literal walk in the dark had become illuminated. Head crooked about in search for a being, a body, any source of other entity who could have flipped the metaphorical switch. But there was no one. "Creepy..." eyes darted upward towards the swinging chandelier before taking note of the right and left doors. Only for his attention to be snatched by the larger door that rested in front of him. With a nod, the blond began to tread forward, heading towards the stairwell and in tune the large door. [attr="class","susurrus"] [attr="class","jikan"] [attr="class","hiraeth"]山雨欲来风满楼 | [attr="class","achee"] [attr="class","castleonthehill"] ❝ There were certain hours of the night and daylight where power was more profound, restless. Generous. Midnight was one such hour. And Toru doubted the coincidence of his ears perking at a particularly rattled sob, a shaky gasp of air, teasing in a ghostly whisper, the moment that one hour passed into another. The chilling aura of hostility, of deadly intent, pulsing like a sickeningly prolonged heartbeat throughout the lofty mansion’s grounds, seeping through thin gaps of steel, gnawed bitterly at the knight’s every limb. It was an evil place, the ground in which he intended to tread. Yet, Toru had suspected that when word of the disappearances associated with the Azabu-mansion had reached his hearing. ”Raise your Sword, Mars Power!” Transforming before passing through the front gate and stepping upon sacrilegious ground seemed the wisest course of action to Toru. Reinforced when he felt a subtle coiling reaction from the chilling darkness, as he stood with bow in hand. Though, his ofuda would prove to be more essential than his arrows this time, Toru grimly suspected. Thank Mars that his supply was endless. The steel front gates had been unlocked and left slightly ajar, although Toru hadn’t realized until he had meant to find a way into the spacious grounds. A weighty steel lock had been cracked apart, messily. Meaning that Toru wasn’t the first to brave the mansion, ignoring warnings of disappearances, that night. It could just be a reckless teenager or two, trying to prove something. Only, then again, nothing good had come to Minato since the Dome’s strange appearance. Ordinarily, Toru wasn’t easy to spook. Even going as far as to enjoy investigating cases of hauntings – he had formed for himself a successful career doing exactly that after-all. Though, ninety-percent of the time such investigations proved such hauntings to be little more than hoaxes. The remaining ten-percent did not resemble what Toru had willingly walked into. And it wasn’t because of the immaculately tended-to lawn. Not even the unsettling statues, of children frozen in positions of play, spread across the trimmed grass, seeming to do more than observing the seventeen-year-old walking among them. Chiseled eyes seemed to move only on the edge of Toru’s sight, but that was far less disturbing compared to the feeling of the place. “Spirits” weren’t the trapped souls of the living, tied to places or items once highly valued when they had been alive. Rather, they were an essence. Leftovers. Compelling but unresolved emotions left to stagnate, to fester, forming a sort of scent that grows a presence, a form, over time. Occasionally, communication becomes possible. Interacting sounds or smells, sometimes simplistic physical feelings. Some psychics and spiritualists firmly believed that such interactions lacked enough presence to prove overwhelming, harmful. Toru knew better, but he had never felt such sickening emotion like that which chilled and clawed at his flesh. He wished that he had used his cell-phone to contact Takeo, instead he had underestimated the mansion’s evil when approaching the front-gates. Now, he was already at one of the house’s doors, and though he could feel the pulsing hostility churn, almost as if readying to build even further in intensity, beyond the door, he also knew that it was too late to call for back-up. And so, he reached out, with a gloved hand, and pulled the door back. There was no hissing screeching of rusted screws to loudly announce the knight’s presence. And dark eyebrow knotted tightly as Toru stepped into the heavily shadowed interior, blindly. The mansion was remarkably well-kept to be thought of as abandoned or vacant – too well. Briefly acknowledging his surroundings, enough to recognize that space’s structure was that of a vestibule or foyer, Toru first made to find and flip the nearest light-switch. Which he did, only for there not to be a response. ”So, someone cares enough to keep the place inviting but not enough to pay the bills,” Toru mused to himself. ”Not exactly hospitable. You’re a strange one, Mister Ghost.”It was then that Toru felt It. Movement akin to another reaching out to run fingertips down the length of his spine only to hesitate at the last moment, disturbing how long umber strands of hair fell against his shoulders. A glacial whisper of stale air, which caused Toru to shudder in turn. ”Find me …” It was a dead whisper, vibrating all around Toru, too low of a sound to accurately determine gender or age. And, as if triggered, candles, set against the nearby walls, all caught light at once. ”Ah. Neat.” Bronzed lips quirked into half-of-a-smile, which Toru hardly felt, forced. And ember-bright hues eyed three individual doors, spread apart and leading to three separate directions, now visible thanks to the candlelight. He couldn’t tell if that dead whisper had seemed childlike, but it felt as if he was being lured into partaking in a game. Toru’s ears perked, catching the mistakable echo of movement, resounding from the direction of the largest of the three doors. ”Sakurai! Masashi!” Raising his voice, Toru shouted out the names of the two location-scouts employed by Okaruto who had gone missing recently – the reason why he was there. It was a vain hope that they both were just beyond where he stood, that it was they who was responsible for that echo. And not a mouse. Or a trick being played. Toru stayed where he was, not approaching any of the three doors. ”I can feel you watching me,” he spoke out-loud, calmly. Amiably. ”You have been since the moment that I walked through the gates. And I think that if I play your game I might just disappear like Sakurai and Masashi did.”Resting the jagged form of his bow against the ground, Toru lowered his body so as to sit. Folding his legs, comfortably. ”I’m not like my friends though. And I’m here to find them and not you. I’ll start investigating once you helpfully start to hint that they’re somewhere in here.” |

gluttonous
Orders from above brought Kira to the Azabu Mansion, rumored to be riddled with dark energies from the remnants of those who remained in the realm of the living due to nigh unfathomable levels of anger, hatred, sadness and sorrow. In short, a very powerful grudge. Now Kira was not typically one to believe in such nonsense. Spirits? The after-life? Ghosts n' Ghouls? Please. The only "ghouls" that existed were the ones made to serve under him and the master, Chaos. However, if the higher-ups saw promise in the rumors such as this, then who was he to question the rhyme or reason? After all, upon nearing the gates, there was no doubt that he could sense something. Something strong. Dark. Malicious. Despite what rumors told, there was something much more at work here, and the very thought and sensation tickled his spine in such a way that he couldn't help but shiver with a smile curling upon his lips.
"My, my. I can practically feel it crawling all over. Whatever this little mystery is, I will unravel it from its coils." he snickered to himself, soon pushing the gate open and walking past, stalking through the courtyard as red eyes averting across the property to pay very little mind to the images of the children strewn about. Some were running and laughing, playing their frivolous little games. Others were parked in one spot or another, crying for one reason or another. He cared not what they were. All he knew right now was that he would use this amusing spectacle to his advantage. Opening the doors, he was first greeted, not with the three doors of which he could enter, but a young man in some ridiculous get-up. What did he think he was playing at with that "noble prince" costume? Some weird cosplay freak, maybe. Or perhaps... something else was afoot here? Either way, he could feel his skin crawling and his hair starting to stand on end a bit, and... was that his snake-like smile curling upon his lips? Surely that meant he was in the presence of a new plaything? Yes, that had to be it. Perhaps he'd have a bit of fun before he set out on his true purpose? That seemed like a splendid idea.
Quickly reigning in his own malicious aura, he soon let out a scream, his features contorting to that of anxiety and fear, eyes wild with panic as he soon broke out into a sweat, hand gripping at his head as he looked about frantically. "W-why?! Why can't I get out?! There's no exit...! No exit! I've gone through every damn door but always wind up back here!" Oh, how delightful to employ his acting talent here of all places. It was almost far too perfect. The dark dome over the city. The sudden ruptures of energy in affixed points. And now a rumored haunted house becoming active with fresh prey for him to toy with before draining them of their energy. Oh how truly delectable this would be~

[GoogleFont=Raleway|Montserrat|Ubuntu] [attr="class","event1"]The moment the three males would enter the mansion, the door behind them would close shut. Seemingly locked from the outside, exiting through it would prove to be futile. The chandelier above would begin to rock back and forth more frequent. An ominous, chilling, breeze would take over the main foyer where two of the males were positioned ( TORU AIHARA + KIRA HIMOJI ). The candle lights, one by one, would seem to flicker out. Leaving only lights that led towards the LEFT and RIGHT doorways. If the pair decided to stay put instead of move, they would surely be left in pitch black darkness. Easy prey for the mysterious workings of the mansion to get a hold of. However, for the male ( TAKEO AIKO ) that tread towards the large door, the moment he would reach out for the knob; the door itself would open and forcibly suck him inside. Slamming loudly and locking itself after having captured him within. Upon entry, he would fall onto the floor of hat seemed to be a secret study. A lone desk positioned in the middle of the room. Large windows that allowed sight of the withering, spacious garden in the backyard. A personal library of various books, as well as portraits against the wall. The portraits, however, seemed to show images of the three males within the mansion. Clad in renaissance attire, rather than modern fashion. "Find me... find me!!" The voice would echo throughout the entire mansion. The voice carrying enough power to dislodge the chandelier from the ceiling of the foyer, bringing the gaudy creation down in an attempt to crash upon those near the entrance ( TORU AIHARA + KIRA HIMOJI ). [attr="class","kfbase"] [attr="class","kftop"] [attr="class","kficon"] [attr="class","kfboxbase"] SUPER ROOKIE [attr="class","kfbox"]The moment Takeo reached outward towards the knob of the large door, the mansion itself decided his actions were far too slow. The door flung open and sucked the blond up and within. Slamming shut seconds after his whole body had been absorbed. Locking itself as Takeo tumbled and stumbled onto the floor. Landing in an unsightly position with his backside skyward and forehead against the rug, he slowly raised up and planted said backside on the floor. "What the.." Hand rubbing at the top of his head, Sapphire hues darted about in a mixture of intrigue and confusion. "A study..?" Slowly rising onto his feet, he began slowly moving about the room, his eyes taking note to the three portraits that rested against the wall. "T-tofu?" Eyes squint and peered with scrutiny at the portraits. Not only was there a portrait of his friend on the wall, but there was one of himself... and another unknown being. "Okay... that's weird." Takeo took steps away from the wall and moved towards the door. Gripping at the knob and tugging at it. "What??" It wouldn't budge. So he proceeded to push. And, to no avail, the door didn't budge. His brows knit and furrowed. Locked in? No way. "Alright, fine." His hand bawled tightly into a fist, Takeo threw his fist heavenward. The gold jewel of his transformation bracelet a glow. "Raise your sword, Venus power!" Once the phrase was shouted with drive and purpose, the gold jewel within the bracelet began to emit a blinding light that soon took over Takeo's entire body. The world around him became nothing more than a fluorescent orange backdrop accompanied by the stars from the galaxy itself. Takeo's body nothing more than a blinding silhouette of light that ebbed and flowed in tune with a trail of stars. His body soared through the new found space, only to stop dead in it's tracks and become surrounded by a ribbon of stars. His hands raised and with the sudden pop, he was granted White gloves with an orange trim. Stars from above spiraled towards him and on contact with his body they too exploded into the ensemble of the Stellar Knight. A crisp white dress shirt, and blue vest appeared on his body. Hands came down and a trail of stairs danced across his arms until a matching white and orange accented penguin tailed suit top appeared, sleeves rolled up to his elbows. Landing on what would be assumed ground, a star below him would shine a blinding light and matching white pants would now be present against his body. White and orange lace up dress shoes on his feet. Finally, three more stars would collide against his body. One forming a bow tie of matching orange and navy blue color scheme, the second a small red ribbon that tied and reaffirmed his ponytail, and the final star forming into a whip around his waist. Azure eyes opened and immediately shifted to gold in color as the stars faded. A wink would cause two silver studs to appear on his ears. The symbol of Venus glowing proudly against his forehead, and the running of his gloved finger through his ponytail would signal the finishing touches to his transformation. Now transformed, Venus would take another go at the pesky door knob. His palms gripping at the golden encrusted knob and tugging with all his might. Even going so far as to place the soles of his shoes onto the door and tug even harder. Only to fall back against the floor with a thud that wouldn't be heard by anyone but himself. "Dammit. I'm stuck." Standing up with a slight pout, the Knight brushed off the dust that had gathered on his attire and decided it best to investigate before stooping to drastic measures. He could very well attempt to blow the door down with a crescent canon. But before he resorted to vandalism, he should at least try to understand why there was a portrait of not only his friend, but himself and another present. He would proceed to glacially stroll towards the desk. A plethora of papers scattered on the top of the desk would be present. A quill docked in an container of ink as well as a large gaudy lamp. "Hm.." Taking a seat in the chair, Venus would open up drawer after drawer. Each one seemingly empty, that is, until he found a sole black book docked within the last drawer. "Oh?" Grabbing hold of the book in question, his finger would pull the cover back to the first page. "Find me... find me!!"His eyes darted about the room again. Where was the source of that annoying voice? And how could he stop it? After assuming he was along in the room, his eyes darted down towards the first page of the book. "I'm guilty..." The only words written upon the page in black ink. "Guilty of what?" Fingers began to flip through the rest of the book. A diary, he assumed it to be. But the other pages, they were blank. "Whose diary is th—"The diary would begin to glow, words appearing on a blank page from thin air. What are you guilty of? [attr="class","susurrus"] [attr="class","jikan"] [attr="class","hiraeth"]山雨欲来风满楼 | [attr="class","achee"] [attr="class","castleonthehill"] ❝ A sudden scream pierced the still air, and Toru spun, thoughtlessly, to face the sound. Surprise flickered across ember depths at the sight of another teenager, for Toru hadn’t heard any echo, of a door swinging open, the soft creaking pressure of feet walking across floorboards, that would have alerted him to no longer being alone within the desolate foyer. ”Woah.” Gloved fingers spread apart, a palm pressed against the floor, acting as a mean of supporting balance, as Toru climbed to his feet in a fluid motion, standing tall. ”It’s alright, but shouting won’t do anything. You need to calm down – wait. Himoji?”Toru wouldn’t have called the youth, with cascading ebony locks of hair and scarlet-coloured eyes, Kira Himoji, his friend, but he did more than just know him by face and by name. The occasional sentence or two had been exchanged between the pair within the prestigious walls of Mugen Academy. Both were third-year students of the academy’s entertainment division, both were familiar faces upon Tokyo TV-screens. It seemed odd, to Toru, to have found Kira within such a place and in a hysterical state. Haunted houses didn’t suit the mature, if slightly haughty, vibe that he had gotten from the other over the years. ”Strange place to see you, we’re not exactly close to Sankakusu or Roppongi,” Toru remarked, arching a dark eyebrow, an inquisitive gesture. Then, suddenly, it struck the Stellar Knight that, although he had recognized his fellow Mugen student, the same likely could not be said in reverse. That he had forgotten that he was garbed in the garments of the Knight of Mars. ”Uh, I mean …” Gloved fingers kneaded the nape of his neck, a restless gesture. ”Well, a famous TV star like yourself shouldn’t be exploring a supposed haunted house. You’re not Aihara Toru after-all.” Toru tried to laugh, trying to make his absentmindedness less awkward. Above their heads, the ostentatiously large chandelier swayed, glass tinkling softly as shadows began to waltz against the wallpaper, plastered across every wall. And Toru’s laughter promptly died, his jaw tightened as he fought against an icy chill, shuddering down the length of his spine, his body reacting to the subtle shifting of the darkness palpitating around him. Candles, set along the walls and previously lit, began to snuff out, individually, much in the same disturbingly unnatural manner in which they had been lit in the first place. And the waltzing shadows turned off-putting, unsettling, as they grew and churned in both length and structure. ”Tsk,” Toru scowled, feeling the waifish fingertips of dread uncurling, reaching out to caress, to grasp. Just as a frosted breeze passed by, teasing at an earlobe as it carried the same dead whisper previously heard. ”Find me … Find me!!” No longer a beckoning, the message had become a demand. One that whatever the evil was had no intention of being ignored any further. The walls quaked, audibly cracking, tearing under the intensity of that unnatural bellow. Furniture rattled and shook in turn, but none as threateningly as the above chandelier. An ominous cacophony of glass, metal and screws. It left the knight with little doubt about what would momentarily happen. ”Move – now!” Ember hues had sought the other’s scarlet gaze, to convey the severity of his two-worded instruction, before darting towards a door to their right, and then towards a door on their left. Indecisive, but only for half-a-breath. Toru dashed towards the left door, a hand reaching for the doorknob, which he turned to open, before leaping past. A motion that was followed by a thunderous clamoring which reverberated from the foyer, now behind from where he stood. And hopefully from where Kira stood as well. ”Sheesh. That wasn’t very nice,” Toru muttered as his sight adjusted to the lighting of his new surroundings, finding that he was standing in what looked to be a library. |

gluttonous
Crimson eyes swiveled over to look at the source of the voice calling to him, finding ebony skin, dark hair, and eyes of embers looking directly at him. The face was definitely familiar... and yet Kira couldn't actually be sure. He was certain he'd seen this man somewhere in passing, at least once or twice. And yet he couldn't quite put his finger on it. Oh well. It didn't really matter to him. Although, he did have to wonder what was up with that ungodly prince-like get-up. And in a haunted house no less. Was he stumbling in on a movie shoot or something? If so, that would either be A) Embarrassing, or B) Funny as hell. He hadn't crashed a movie shoot before, but there was always a first time for everything. However, his mind began to wonder as the man not only specified him by name, but also knew of the two districts he was usually seen. It made those eyes leer at the other like a serpent coiling up on the defense, very wary of the other's presence. However, instead of questioning the other as to how he knew him, he would merely continue on with his act.
"Oh thank God I'm not the only one here! Listen, you have to get me out of here!" he started, only to stop as the entire mansion seemed to shake violently, that ghostly voice from before now screaming demands as opposed to its lighthearted whispers before. Find you? Oh, Kira would find you alright. And once he did, you would be prime for the taking. But such thoughts could come later. Right now, Kira had to get out of the way of a falling chandelier! And he did so with one fluid motion, jumping, rolling and coming back up to his feet, as though he'd done such things a hundred-thousand times. And considering he'd been in a few action flicks here and there, he had! But honestly, dropping chandeliers on his head? How uncouth did a ghost have to be to proceed with a haunting? Really now. That sort of behavior was just pathetic...
He'd let out a soft sigh before returning to his more "meager" demeanor, tailing after Toru like the "scared, helpless victim" he was. Gods, was it exhausting having to maintain such a character. Honestly, Kira Himoji? Scared of a haunted house? He'd sooner make the house fear him than actually falling prey to such bull. But now the pair was inside of a library, books, upon books, and even more books. Lovely. What was next? Spooky diaries writing things to people? Actually, that seemed very likely, as cliche as it sounded...

bittersweet. A shiver went up his spine as Kai stepped into the building. It was dark and it was quite frankly terrifying. After what had happened behind that magic door a while ago... no. He wouldn't think about it. Especially since that weird dome had appeared over the entire city. So many things had happened in the space of such a short time it was beginning to feel as though something had designed it all. Maybe there really was a mastermind of this horrible plan. If there was... he wasn't sure that he would be able to stand up to them.
Inside there seemed to already be two people, but the bluenette wasn't interested in talking. At all. Kai simply wanted to get going and get out as soon as possible. Being in a shirt and skirt combination with his hair extensions in gave him a little more confidence, but not enough to talk to someone right now. Honestly? That would probably only make things worse. He was only here because there was some kind of aura coming from this building.
The lights toward the center had flickered out, but for some reason he wasn't afraid. After getting these unique abilities from the lady in that shop, darkness wasn't as scary anymore. He was far more worried about fading into nothingness, which was the price for using his skills. But his gaze quickly moved from there to the right where there was a smaller door. Maybe... maybe there wasn't anything in the grand door. Sometimes the biggest discoveries are in the smallest details. So, clutching the Eclipse Pendant around his neck, Kai moved toward the Right where the small door lay.
Carefully he turned the knob on the door and walked inside hesitantly. Going by himself could only lead to trouble since he couldn't attack anything. But he hadn't seen any of the others before. This was the far safer option for sure. |

[GoogleFont=Raleway|Montserrat|Ubuntu] [attr="class","event1"]The words would appear against the page of the diary. Glowing. Shifting from Black ink to a jarring Red. The portraits upon the walls would begin to shift in appearance in tandem with the glowing red words on the page. The eyes of those depicted in the portraits would begin to glow red. Fixating their gaze on the blond who sat in the seat with book in hand ( TAKEO AIKO ). Glares of scrutiny painted across the visages of the paintings as the male would suddenly feel restricted to the chair by his ankles. An unknown, unseen force wrapping around him. The desk that was once situated in front of him would slowly begin to vanish and the walls of the room slowly begin to close in around him. The page of the diary in his hand would flip to yet another blank page. Words forming against the white paper in red ink. WHO ARE YOU?Having escaped the falling chandelier, the pair of males ( TORU AIHARA + KIRA HIMOJI ) would find themselves surrounded by what seemed to be an endless supply of books. The door that was used to enter the room would vanish, leaving the two within the room of knowledge seemingly with no way to escape. The library itself would be just as spacious as the foyer they had just left. A collection of opened books would rest against the floor. Only a few foot steps away from where the pair entered. A collection of pages ripped from said books would be scattered across the floor as well. Each page however, would have a large red letter drawn onto it. However, the letters seemed to be scrambled. H D A O W T U A N Y W T O ?The final male ( KAI MCLANE ) would make his way into the dining room area. The door behind him locking upon his immediate entry. Another large, intricate chandelier would hang above the long table and the lights of it would flicker on, showing twenty seats at the table. Each one being occupied by a bouquet of flowers. Dripping of a red substance. The same red substance would be splattered across the walls of the dining room. Towards the opened door to the kitchen, however, a question would be written out against the wall. HUNGRY?MADE FOR MOONLIGHT DENSETSU |

[attr="class","kfbase"] [attr="class","kftop"] [attr="class","kficon"] [attr="class","kfboxbase"] SUPER ROOKIE [attr="class","kfbox"]"Guilty?" Venus looked on at the page below with confusion plastered on his countenance. Guilty? What could he have done to possibly feel guilty about? He hadn't done any illegal activities. Well, sans for trespassing on the property. But that was it! And even then, the gate was opened. And on top of that! This was all in the pursuit of justice for the city. So it could be looked over, right? But then, as he sat in the chair and pondered more in-depth at the inquiry that had been posed to him. Maybe... maybe it wasn't being asked in regards to Takeo's life... but Sentai Venus's..? A series of blinks took over as the idea resonated with the blond. Swimming about in his pool of thought. Was the Knight guilty of anything? His chest slowly began to tighten. A hand moving to clutch the fabric of his uniform. "I couldn't... I couldn't love her?" He asked aloud, head darting up from the book and immediately focusing on the portraits against the wall. Had they, had they always been looking at him? And with glowing red eyes?
No. No, he was sure that when he entered the room their eyes matched the color of their respective real-life counterpart. Something was going on. His brows furrowed, knitted together in contemplation. There was certainly malefic going on about this room. This entire mansion. But the knight couldn't pinpoint what exactly it was. In the midst of examining the room further, he watched on in disbelief as the desk in front of him, vanished. It just disappeared from thin air. "Witchcraft..." Venus spoke out. A sudden red light shining from his lap causing his sights to drop down. Returning to the diary in his possession. The page had turned on it's own and yet another question had been posed in scarlet lettering. Who was he?
What a ridiculous question. "What kind of stupid game is this?" His head shot back up-right. Eyes darting about as the walls began to glacially come closer. His eyelids lowered and brows furrowed after. Had he really fallen for some sort of trap of the undead? Whatever. He spent far too much time in this room as it was. All he needed to do was get up and leave. Blow the damn door down with a crescent canon and—"h-huh?" The moment Venus attempted to stand up, there was a sensation of his ankles being restrained. Immediately looking to the floor below, he could see nothing that would indicate he was stuck to the furniture. "What kind of ghost is this..?" Begrudgingly, he flopped back down into the chair and glared at the words plastered on the page.
A loaded question? Perhaps. But if he continued following the logic that whatever "ghost" this was wasn't actually a ghost, but a follower of Chaos, then surely there would only be one true answer that would suffice. Rolling his golden hues in annoyance, the knight took a moment to look at the enclosing walls. They were still moving nearer, albeit slow and glacial in speed. He took it upon himself to assume that whoever had taken control of the mansion was doing him favor in allowing him time to answer. As if that made him anymore reluctant to do so. "Tch," he sighed in a disgruntled tone. Tongue clicking before deciding it best to play along for the time being.
"I am the handsome suited soldier who fights for Love and Beauty, Sentai Venus." He'd answer with pride. Eyes now fixated on the door ahead of him. Plans forming within the recesses of his mind.
His arms and hands were free. So he could very well fire the canon off now. But, if he did such a thing, he could very well fasten the rate of the walls enclosing. Not to mention the unanswered restraint at his ankles. There had been no sign of intrusion in the room. He would have sensed it. And then he would have been able to make a more informed decision on a course of action. But alas, he would have to play with the cards he had been dealt.
Bidding time. Waiting for what he could only assume to be another ridiculous question to form upon the pages of the book. With another sigh, his eyes would close. Maybe he could sense something. Anything, at this point. "...!" Golden hues sprung open. Sentai Mars..? And there were two other sources of magic energy within the area. One foreign, the other familiar yet different.
What was going on here...? [attr="class","susurrus"] [attr="class","jikan"] [attr="class","hiraeth"]山雨欲来风满楼 | [attr="class","achee"] [attr="class","castleonthehill"] ❝ Toru hadn’t wanted to play such a skewered game of hide-and-seek. It never ended well when the living agreed to participate in playing games with the dead. Though, Toru now, more than a little bit, suspected that what gripped the mansion so sinisterly wasn’t a simple haunting but … something else. Something that matched neither his experiences nor his knowledge of the Other. If he had a camera on him, the footage would have made for his greatest episode yet – Azabu: Gateway to Hell, or something. Titling episodes wasn’t part of Toru’s job. He couldn’t blame Sakurai or Masashi for braving the mansion alone, felt even more concerned about their fates. Toru had to find them, and hopefully the many others reported missing, and stop whatever evil it was that had created a nest for itself. ”You’re okay, right?” Turning towards Kira, ember hues glanced over his person, looking for signs of injury that might have occurred during their rush to avoid being crushed via the falling chandelier. Seemingly satisfied, the knight offered a warm smile, ”phew, pretty lucky, huh? Don’t worry, just stick close by me. I’m … well, I’ve got a sharp sense for ghostly activity. I’ll keep us safe.”Unfortunately, as soon as he finished saying that was when Toru realized that the door in which the both of them had run through was no longer present. Replaced by wooden shelves stacked to the brim with an assortment of books. Identical to every last wall and corner within the library. ”Uh.” It was a trick superior to the candle-lighting pallor-trick from earlier. ”I’ve got an idea.” Reaching into the outer pocket of his padded twin-tailed jacket, the knight withdrew the thin strip of written-upon parchment that was his talisman. Holding it against one of the shelves, where once the door had been, Toru added, to Kira, ”look away,” and proceeded to close his own eyes. Focusing his power, he muttered, ”konton kosoku.” And the room temporarily became engulfed in white light, both pure and blinding. ”Worth a try …” Sighing dejectedly, Toru turned away from the shelf of books. Whatever reaction that his spiritual power may or may-not have caused, it had not triggered the door to reappear. And, as Toru observed the library’s structure, from where he stood, he strongly suspected that he wouldn’t find another any easier. Crimson loafers tread across a book-and-paper strewn floor, wordlessly evaluating that the room in which he stood in appeared every bit as large as the mansion’s foyer. Toru stopped though, as his gaze beheld an untidy cluster of torn pages, left abandoned across the floor, just beyond from where both he and Kira stood. ”H. D. A O. W?” Reciting only the first five of the many crimson letters seemly marked and vandalized upon those pages, Toru frowned before walking a little further ahead. Confirming what he had suspected: there was no second door. ”Looks like It wants to add a puzzle to Its game,” Toru sighed, irritably. Looking over his shoulder, ember eyes fell upon Kira’s face, as he added, ”I hope that you’re better at this sort of thing than I am.” |

gluttonous
The more time passed, the more Kira began to realize who exactly the cosplay freak was, and how hard he was attempting to keep his identity under wraps. Toru Aihara - a fellow 3rd year at Mugen Academy. He also happened to be a T.V personality, albeit, for something completely stupid. Supernatural phenomena and fortune-telling. What utter garbage. The raven-haired boy couldn't help but roll his eyes a touch as the dark-skinned lad made his sheepish attempts at seeming absolutely casual. Then came the instruction for him to turn his eyes away as the man performed a feat he did not expect to see. A radiant light flashing from a piece of parchment paper after muttering a very short chant. Kira could not help but avert his eyes, not only because it was somewhat blinding, but because it made his skin crawl. Any other light, he would be fine. But this one legitimately gave him unpleasant chills. Perhaps this was one of the individuals he'd heard about who had been putting a damper on some of the other servants of chaos running about in the city? If that were the case, his little game of cat and mouse would have to wait. Measures needed to be taken to ensure the smooth operations from within the shadows.
Cautiously, he followed behind Aihara into the mansion's foyer, the man stopping to look down at the cluttered mess upon the floor, red letters scrawled on several pieces of paper that was clearly a very poor attempt at a puzzle. Almost as if on cue, Kira stepped forward and gathered up the paper before re-assembling them into a proper order. The sentence formed was "W H A T D O Y O U W A N T ?" What, was Kira a part of some sort of reality show where the spookers slowly got to know their "victims"? This was such bullshit. He was starting to regret coming here, merely because this was becoming a nuisance. However, his expression would return back to that timid softness he had forced himself to put on before, doing his best to keep up appearances, albeit with quite a bit of difficulty now. "WHAT DO YOU WANT?", he read out loud, a cowardly whimper escaping from his lips as he looked around again, as though hoping to find a door that could serve as an exit. "Isn't that obvious?! I wanna get out of here!" he exclaimed, though hollow were his words as crimson eyes briefly glanced over at Aihara, watching his every movement so as to confirm what sort of individual he truly was... and when would be an opportune moment to strike.
